Chlorine Dioxide Generation Systems
The company provides a full range of technologies for the preparation of chlorine dioxide and sodium chlorite: W1 type low negative pressure (for small and medium-scale disinfection, safe and reliable), W2 type high negative pressure (for large-scale continuous application, high efficiency), W3 type comprehensive method (high raw material utilization rate, suitable for large-scale water plants and industrial bleaching), and sodium chlorite preparation technology (efficient raw material production, reducing storage and transportation risks).
Product Introduction
1. Sodium chlorate solution, concentrated sulfuric acid, and hydrogen peroxide from the storage tank are added to the reactor in a specific ratio. Under low negative pressure conditions, a multi-stage reaction is carried out to generate chlorine dioxide gas.
2. The generated chlorine dioxide gas is diluted with air and enters the absorption tower from the top of the reactor. It is absorbed by a specific ratio of sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide solution to form a sodium chlorite solution of a certain concentration.
3. The generated sodium chlorite solution is evaporated, concentrated, crystallized, filtered, and dried to become solid sodium chlorite.

Reaction Equation: Sodium chlorite production involves two steps:
a. Production of chlorine dioxide: Sodium chlorate is reduced to ClO2 by hydrogen peroxide under acidic conditions.
2NaClO3 + H2SO4 + H2O2 = 2ClO2 + Na2SO4 + 2H2O + O2
b. Preparation of sodium chlorite: Under alkaline conditions, ClO2 is reduced to sodium chlorite by hydrogen peroxide.
2NaOH + 2ClO₂ + H₂O₂ = 2NaClO₂ + 2H₂O + O₂
Technical Features and Advantages:
1) High output (15 tons/day for solid products; 50 tons/day for liquid products);
2) High technological maturity, high raw material utilization rate, reaction byproducts are mainly water and oxygen, green and low-carbon, safe, stable and continuous operation;
3) High degree of automation, convenient operation and maintenance;
Sodium chlorite (NaClO₂) is a highly efficient and stable bleaching agent, oxidant and disinfectant, used in small and medium-scale production scenarios with high product quality and environmental protection requirements, such as pulp and paper bleaching and drinking water disinfection.
